in effectThe governing authority of a city with a station area must adopt and implement standards and guidelines to be used in considering applications and making the determinations required under RCW 84.14.060 . The standards and guidelines must establish basic requirements for both new construction and rehabilitation, which must include: (1) Application process and procedures; (2) Income and rent standards for affordable units that meet the requirements of RCW 36.70A.840 (7)(a); (3) Requirements that address demolition of existing structures and site utilization; and (4) Building requirements that comply with chapter 267, Laws of 2025.
