What to include

If your message is about a formation order, paste your tracking link (the URL you were given after checkout, /business/…). That one link tells us the state, the entity, the stage the order is in, and every step taken so far, which usually saves a round-trip. If you don’t have it, the email address you ordered with is enough.

Never email us a Social Security Number, and never put one in the chat. The only place an SSN is ever collected is the dedicated secure field in the EIN step. If we need one again, we will ask you to enter it there.

Refunds and cancellations

Cancel any time before your filing is submitted to the State and you get a full refund — no reason required. Email us with your tracking link and we will confirm. After submission, the State’s filing fee is spent and is not refundable; the rest is handled case by case. The complete policy is in our Terms & Disclosures.

If you accepted a specific submission period when you checked out — for example, “within 14 days of your payment” — that is the promise that counts for your order. It replaces our standard 10-business-day window, and the refund promise attaches to it. Your payment fixes the exact date, and both the period and the date are shown on your company page. We never move it later.

If your order needs something from you

Some states ask for a detail that only you can answer, and a few require a step after formation (for example, newspaper publication in New York, Arizona, Nebraska, Georgia, and Pennsylvania). When that happens we email you and it also appears on your tracking page. Your order waits — nothing is filed with a guess.
