(65 ILCS 5/11-30-6) (from Ch. 24, par. 11-30-6) Sec. 11-30-6. The corporate authorities of each municipality may regulate the lighting of stairs, vestibules, passageways and common ways in premises containing more than 2 flats or apartments and to require the owner, lessee, person, firm or corporation having control of such stairs, vestibules, passageways and common ways to light the same.
