(a) A risk retention group not chartered in this state shall comply with the laws of this state relating to deceptive, false, or fraudulent acts or practices, including Chapters 541 and 543 . (b) A risk retention group not chartered in this state and the group's agents and representatives shall comply with Chapter 542 . Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 727 (H.B. 2017 ), Sec. 2, eff.
