"Paid family and medical leave insurance" means an insurance policy issued to an employer that meets the minimum requirements necessary for approval pursuant to § 60.2-816 to qualify as a private plan through which such employer may fulfill its obligations under the paid family and medical leave insurance program (§ 60.2-800 et seq.), as determined by the Virginia Employment Commission. 2026, cc. 981 , 1093 .
