In this chapter: (1) "District" means a navigation district organized under Article III, Section 52 , or Article XVI, Section 59 , of the Texas Constitution. (2) "Commission" means the navigation and canal commission. Acts 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff. Aug. 30, 1971.
