2.124.2090 Effective date of service retirement benefits-Death benefits. The effective date of the service retirement benefits shall be as provided in Section 2.124.1990(A) of this chapter. The effective date of a death benefit payable as a periodic allowance shall be the date of death of the deceased member on whose behalf the payment is made. (Prior code § 34.13.1306A)
