6. The Genetic Counseling Advisory Committee shall organize within 30 days after the appointment of its members, and shall annually elect from among its members a chairperson, who shall be a genetic counselor, a vice-chairperson, and a secretary who need not be a member of the committee. The committee shall meet at least four times a year and may hold additional meetings as necessary to discharge its duties. L.2009, c.41, s.6.
