in effect511.040. Judgment on a counterclaim or cross-claim when court orders separate trials. — If the court orders separate trials as provided in section 510.180 , judgment on a counterclaim or cross-claim may be rendered even if the claims of the opposing party have been dismissed or otherwise disposed of.
