Sec. 7. (a) This section does not apply to a person who owns or operates a vehicle or combination of vehicles that: (1) contains parts and accessories; and (2) is equipped; as required under regulations of the United States Department of Transportation. (b) Except as provided in section 8 of this chapter, a person who violates this chapter commits a Class C infraction. [Pre-1991 Recodification Citation: 9-8-6-2(a).] As added by P.L.2-1991, SEC.7.
