In this subchapter: (1) "Guardian" has the meaning assigned by Section 1002.012 , Estates Code. (2) "Guardianship program" has the meaning assigned by Section 155.001 . (3) "Incapacitated individual" means an incapacitated person as defined by Section 1002.017 , Estates Code. Added by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611 ), Sec. 1.01, eff. April 1, 2025.
