The board of commissioners may appropriate money and purchase plots of ground in a cemetery or burial ground for the interment of deceased servicepersons: (1) Who die within the township or die beyond the township limits but had a legal residence within the township at the time of death. (2) Whose bodies are entitled to be buried by the county under the provisions of existing law.
