In addition to the provisions of § 58.1-4205 , any person, firm, corporation, association, agent, or employee who knowingly violates any procedure implemented under subsection D of § 58.1-4202 or any other provision of this chapter shall be liable for a civil penalty of not more than $1,000 for each such violation. Such amount shall be recovered in a civil action brought by the Department and be paid into the Literary Fund. 2026, cc. 565 , 566 .
