(a) The district shall hold an election in the manner provided by Subchapter L , Chapter 375 , Local Government Code, to obtain voter approval before the district imposes a maintenance tax or issues bonds payable from ad valorem taxes. (b) The board may not include more than one purpose in a single proposition at an election. Added by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1315 (S.B. 1123 ), Sec. 2, eff. June 15, 2007.
