Each of the persons hereinafter specified shall be entitled to receive a pension for life from the fund established under section 40:37-157 of this Title, equal to 1/2 of his average salary for the last 3 years of his employment. Amended by L.1955, c. 195, p. 771, s. 4, eff. Aug. 4, 1955.
