32-16-42. To whom infant's share paid When the share of an infant is sold, the proceeds of the sale may be paid by the referees making the sale to the infant's guardian or conservator, if the infant has one, or as provided in section 30.1-26-03, or to the guardian ad litem appointed for the infant in the action, upon the guardian ad litem giving the security required by law or directed by order of the court.
