(20 ILCS 5/5-336) Sec. 5-336. In the Department of Early Childhood. For terms beginning on or after July 1, 2024, the Secretary shall receive an annual salary of $214,988 or as set by the Governor, whichever is higher. On July 1, 2025, and on each July 1 thereafter, the Secretary shall receive an increase in salary based on the cost of living adjustment as authorized by Senate Joint Resolution 192 of the 86th General Assembly.
