This part shall be known and cited as the “County Drainage District Act.”

“District” as used in this part means any county drainage district formed pursuant to this part or pursuant to any law which it supersedes.

“District board” as used in this part means the board of directors of a district.
Cal. Water Code - WAT § 56003. Section 56003.
Districts may be formed, maintained and governed in any county as provided in this part.
