Nev. Rev. Stat. § 606.010 Definitions.
As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires, the words defined in NRS 606.020 to 606.060, inclusive, have the meanings ascribed to them in those sections.

Department means the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.
Nev. Rev. Stat. § 606.040 Division defined.
Division means the Employment Security Division of the Department.
Nev. Rev. Stat. § 606.050 Employee defined.
Employee has the meaning ascribed to it in 42 U.S.C. § 653a(a)(2)(A).
Nev. Rev. Stat. § 606.060 Employer defined.
Employer has the meaning ascribed to it in 42 U.S.C. § 653a(a)(2)(B).
Nev. Rev. Stat. § 606.100 Establishment of directory: Division of Social Services of the Department of Human Services and Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation to provide information to certain agencies.
1. The Division shall establish and maintain a directory of the newly hired employees in this State that complies with the requirements set forth in 42 U.S.C. § 653a.
2. Within 3 business days after the date information regarding a newly hired employee is entered into the directory established pursuant to subsection 1, the Division of Social Services of the Department of Human Services shall provide the information to the National Directory of New Hires established pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 653(i).
3. Each calendar quarter, the Department shall submit to the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services the information required by the Secretary pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 653a(g)(2)(B).
4. Upon request, the Department shall provide the information included in the directory established pursuant to subsection 1 to the agencies described in 42 U.S.C. § 653a(h).
Nev. Rev. Stat. § 606.110 Department to provide information to Chief of Program for Enforcement of Child Support; Chief to compare information received from Department with information in state case registry.
1. The Department shall, not less than once each business day, provide to the Chief of the Program for the Enforcement of Child Support of the Division of Social Services of the Department of Human Services the information included in the directory established pursuant to NRS 606.100 . The Department shall provide the information by electronic or magnetic transmission.
2. The Chief shall, pursuant to the provisions of 42 U.S.C. § 653a(f), compare the information received pursuant to subsection 1 with the information contained in the state case registry established by the Division of Social Services of the Department of Human Services pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 654a.
Nev. Rev. Stat. § 606.120 Employer to provide Division with certain information concerning newly hired employees; Division to include in directory information received from employers; civil penalty for noncompliance.
1. Each employer shall, within the time prescribed in 42 U.S.C. § 653a, provide to the Division a report that contains the information required pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 653a concerning an employee.
2. The Division shall include in the directory of newly hired employees the information received pursuant to this section within 5 business days after the receipt of the information.
3. In addition to any other penalty provided by law, the Division may adopt by regulation a civil penalty of less than $25 for an employer who fails to comply with the provisions of 42 U.S.C. § 653a. Any such penalty must be imposed by the Division after notice and an opportunity for a hearing.
