In this subchapter: (1) "High-risk patient" means a patient who has a level 3 or 4 classification according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status Classification System. (2) "Pediatric patient" means a patient younger than 13 years of age. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 349, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 2001.
