(a) A district may sue and be sued in any court of this state in the name of the district. (b) A court of this state shall take judicial notice of the establishment of a district. (c) A district is not required to give security for costs in a suit or to give a supersedeas or cost bond in an appeal of a judgment. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 883 (S.B. 1205 ), Sec. 2, eff.
