The arbitration tribunal or a party with the approval of the tribunal may request assistance from a district court or the business court in taking evidence, and the court may provide the assistance according to its rules on taking evidence. The tribunal or a party shall select the court in the manner provided by Section 171.096 . Added by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 5.02, eff. Sept. 1, 1997.
