(225 ILCS 115/26) (from Ch. 111, par. 7026) (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2029) Sec. 26. Home rule. The regulation and licensing as a veterinarian are exclusive powers and functions of the State. A home rule unit may not regulate or license a veterinarian or the practice of veterinary medicine.
