Sec. 1. (a) As used in this chapter, "acquisition" means a project or an arrangement that is undertaken: (1) by an energy utility to construct, purchase, lease, or otherwise acquire a generation resource; and (2) in accordance with an approved EGR plan. (b) The term includes the purchase of energy or capacity through a power purchase agreement. As added by P.L.217-2025, SEC.2.
