(a) Official field notes made by a licensed state land surveyor must be signed by the surveyor, followed by the designation "Licensed State Land Surveyor." (b) Field notes and plats prepared by a licensed state land surveyor must conform to Sections 21.041 and 21.042 , Natural Resources Code. (c) Field notes made by a licensed state land surveyor in any county in this state are admissible in evidence. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 1, eff. June 1, 2003.
