(a) The district may impose a hotel occupancy tax for the purposes described by Section 3933.405 . (b) The amount of the tax may not exceed seven percent of the price paid for a room in a hotel. Added by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1239 (H.B. 4155 ), Sec. 1, eff. September 1, 2015.
