in effectThe governing body of a municipality may adopt an ordinance or a resolution to regulate the possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages in a parking lot, common area, or general common element in:
(1) a leased residential property, including attached single–family homes or a multifamily dwelling unit;
(2) a condominium; or
(3) a homeowners association.
