2. No person shall be appointed to or continue to be eligible for participation in the parking enforcement unit for persons with disabilities unless the person: a. Evidences no criminal record as a result of a State criminal history record background check through the State Bureau of Identification in the Division of State Police in the Department of Law and Public Safety; b. Is a resident of the municipality in which the unit is established; and c. Is at least 18 years of age. L.1991, c.442, s.2; amended 2017, c.131, s.160.
