The following state institutions of higher learning, namely: The University of Mississippi; The Mississippi State University of Agriculture and Applied Science; The Mississippi State College for Women; The University of Southern Mississippi; The Delta State College; The Alcorn Agricultural and Mechanical College; The Jackson State College; The Mississippi Valley State College; and any other of like kind which may be hereafter established by the state; shall be under the management and control of a board of trustees to be known as the board of trustees of state institutions of higher learning.
