§ 74 Mayor's staff. The mayor shall appoint such members of the mayor's staff, exempt from the civil service system, as may be provided by resolution. The compensation paid to such staff members shall be fixed by resolution of the council. The mayor's staff shall serve at the pleasure of the mayor.
