(225 ILCS 710/45.62) (from Ch. 96 1/2, par. 4315) Sec. 45.62. All defects in or damages or injury to machinery or timbering or to apparatus and equipment generally in and about a mine, all unsafe or dangerous conditions in any part of the mine, and all accidents occurring in the course of mining operations, other than those of a purely minor character, even though not resulting in personal injury, shall be promptly reported to the mine foreman or superintendent by the person observing the same.
