Ind. Code § 22-4-25.5-1 "Fund"

Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "fund" means the unemployment insurance modernization fund established by section 2 of this chapter. As added by P.L.200-2025, SEC.29.

Ind. Code § 22-4-25.5-2 Establishment; purpose

Sec. 2. (a) The unemployment insurance modernization fund is established for the purpose of modernizing and maintaining the unemployment insurance system. (b) The money in the fund is available to the department for the modernization of the unemployment insurance system. As added by P.L.200-2025, SEC.29.

Ind. Code § 22-4-25.5-3 Source of funds

Sec. 3. The fund consists of the following: (1) Money transferred from the special employment and training services fund under IC 22-4-25-1. (2) Appropriations made by the general assembly. (3) Grants and gifts of money. As added by P.L.200-2025, SEC.29.

Sec. 4. The department shall administer the fund. As added by P.L.200-2025, SEC.29.

Ind. Code § 22-4-25.5-5 Reversion

Sec. 5. Money in the fund at the end of a state fiscal year does not revert to the state general fund. As added by P.L.200-2025, SEC.29.

Ind. Code § 22-4-25.5-6 Expenditures report

Sec. 6. On or before October 1 of each year, the department shall submit a report to the budget committee detailing the expenditures made from the fund during the previous state fiscal year. As added by P.L.200-2025, SEC.29.
