1. An employer shall not knowingly offer employment or continue to employ a person who is receiving payments for a temporary total disability in violation of the provisions of chapters 616A to 616D , inclusive, or chapter 617 of NRS or NRS 281.390 . 2. An employer who is convicted of violating the provisions of subsection 1 is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.
