5.156.010 Title and purpose. This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Sacramento Tenant Protection Act." The purpose of the act is to protect tenants by establishing limits on rent increases and limitations on unwarranted evictions, while providing landlords with a fair and reasonable return on their investment.
