10.08.040 City traffic engineer and parking manager-Powers and duties.

The city traffic engineer shall: determine the installation and proper timing and maintenance of traffic-control devices and signals; conduct engineering analyses of traffic accidents and devise remedial measures; conduct engineering investigation of traffic conditions and co-operate with other city officials in the development of ways and means to improve traffic conditions; and carry out the additional powers and duties imposed by this title and other ordinances of the city. The parking manager shall manage and operate the public off-street parking facilities, direct parking studies of off-street and on-street parking needs, plans and facilities, and perform related duties.
