15.100.300 Scope.
Every highrise building shall be provided with a fire control room at a location approved by the fire department. The fire control room shall be separated from the remainder of the building by not less than two-hour fire resistive construction with all openings protected by assemblies having a minimum fire resistive rating of one and one-half hours. Fire control rooms shall be so constructed to limit water from entering due to leakage or fire suppression activity. (Prior code §§ 9.28.1229, 15.12.1201)
