15.100.510 Mechanical ventilation testing.
Smoke removal systems shall be tested with a suitable product to verify the capability of the system to perform its intended design. The acceptance test will be performed by pressure and velocity testing, using chemical smoke, tracer gas or various combinations of these methods. All chemical smoke products used shall be approved by the authority having jurisdiction. (Prior code §§ 9.28.1250, 15.13.1304)
