17.312.030 Definitions.
Unless otherwise stated, as used in this chapter the words and terms below have the following meanings: "Height of a structure" means the vertical distance from the average elevation of the finished lot grade to the high point of the structure. Roof-top mechanical equipment, whether or not housed in a penthouse, is not included in this measurement. "Shopping center" means a group of five or more architecturally unified commercial establishments, managed as a unit, and with common off-street parking and vehicular access points. "Structural lot coverage" means that portion of a lot covered by all structures on the same lot. For the purposes of this definition, a shopping center shall be considered a single lot.
