2.124.600 Exemptions from mandatory retirement age.
The city council may, upon the recommendation of the city manager, extend for periods of one year each and not to exceed a total of five years, the mandatory retirement age of any member of this plan who is exempt from the rules and regulations of the civil service board under Section 83 of the charter and resolutions adopted thereunder.
