§ 250 Continuing provisions of former charter.

(a) The city council shall adopt ordinances to continue in effect, without substantial modification, the following provisions of the Charter of the City of Sacramento as the same existed on the date immediately preceding the adoption of this article: Section 264. E. B. Crocker Art Gallery. Section 265. Ann Land Memorial Fund. Section 266. William Land Park Fund. (b) Ordinances required to be adopted under this section shall be adopted as soon as possible on or immediately following the effective date of this article. (c) Ordinances required to be adopted under this section may be amended from time to time to conform same to any order or judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction. (d) Except as otherwise provided herein, ordinances adopted under this section shall continue in full force and effect unless repealed or amended by ordinance submitted to and approved by the electorate of the city.
