8.92.140 Term.
A permit to operate an underground storage tank shall be effective for five years, at which time the permittee may apply for renewal pursuant to regulations to be promulgated under Section 8.92.270 of this chapter. A permit will not be issued or be renewed if the permitting authority, upon inspection of the tank, determines that the tank does not comply with this chapter. Permits to operate may not be issued if the permittee has not paid local fees and state surcharges. (Prior code § 16.01.090)
