The provisions of IFC Chapter 10 are not adopted. The following is adopted as Chapter 10 entitled “Means of Egress”: “SECTION 1001 GENERAL 1001.1 Compliance. Means of egress shall be provided and improved during construction and rehabilitation work in accordance with Chapter 10 of the Chicago Building Code and the Chicago Building Rehabilitation Code, as applicable. Means of egress shall be provided retroactively and maintained in accordance with the Chicago Minimum Requirements for Existing Buildings.”
