The provisions of Section 1907 of IBC are adopted by reference with the following modifications: 1. Revise Section 1907.1 by deleting "approved" and replacing "6 inches (152 mm)" with "12 inches (305 mm)." 2. Revise the exceptions to Section 1907.1 by replacing "Group R-3" with "Group R-3 or R-5."
