2-84-490 Resignation procedure.
Any person desiring to resign from his position in the department shall submit two executed copies of such proposed resignation to the board. Such resignation shall not be effective until accepted by the board and a copy of such proposed resignation is forwarded to the civil service commission with the acceptance of the board noted thereon.
