14X-12-1205.3.5.1 Agent qualifications. The agent must be a natural person 21 years of age or older, designated by the mortgagee as agent for receiving notices of code violations and for receiving process, in any court proceeding or administrative enforcement proceeding, on behalf of the mortgagee in connection with enforcement of this code. The agent’s street address must be located in Cook County, Illinois and the agent must maintain an office in Cook County, Illinois, or reside within Cook County, Illinois. A mortgagee who is a natural person and who meets the requirements of this section as to location of residence or office may be designated as the agent.
