13.24.310 Diversion and recycling requirements. Each franchisee shall divert at a rate or rates, measured as a percentage, of commercial waste material the franchisee collects within the city. The diversion rate or rates, and the waste materials utilized to calculate those rate or rates shall be established by resolution of the city council. Penalties for failing to achieve the required diversion rate or rates are specified in section 13.24.750. (Ord. 2021-0003 § 15)
