Section BC 3113: Photovoltaic Panels and Modules 3113.1 General. Photovoltaic panels and modules shall comply with the requirements of this code, the New York City Electrical Code, the Zoning Resolution and the New York City Fire Code. 3113.1.1 Rooftop-mounted photovoltaic panels and modules. Photovoltaic panels and modules installed on a roof or as an integral part of a roof assembly shall comply with the requirements of the New York City Fire Code and Chapter 15 of this code.
