G.2.3 Automatic sprinkler system. Buildings and structures shall be equipped throughout with an automatic sprinkler system in accordance with Section 903.3.1.1 of the New York City Building Code, except where an alternative fire-extinguishing system is approved in accordance with the New York City Fire Code and the New York City Building Code.
