Sec. 6.172. Construction and Validity. This article shall be liberally construed in order to effectuate its purposes. If any provisions hereof, or the application thereof to any person, property or circumstance, is held invalid the remainder of this article, or the application of such provision to other persons, property or circumstances, shall not be affected thereby.
