14F-13-1300.1 Other provisions of IFC. Provisions of IFC not specifically referenced in this title are not part of this code. Where the fire code official deems it necessary to protect public safety, the fire code official is authorized to issue a written order requiring compliance with provisions of Chapters 20 through 30, 32, and 34 through 67 of IFC and Sections 415 through 418 and 425 through 428 of IBC (as defined in Section 14B-1-001) either in place of or in addition to the requirements of this code. The definitions in the Chicago Construction Codes Administrative Provisions and Chapter 14F-2 shall not apply to these provisions of the Municipal Code that are incorporated by reference.
